The below list of expectations are non-negotiable Covid-19 guidelines
as outlined by Alberta Health Services, Hockey Alberta, the MRC and the SLMHA and
therefore they are mandatory and must be followed.
NOTE: If non-compliance continues to be an issue the SLMHA is prepared to make the difficult decision
to ban all spectators and parents from practices and games for the duration of the season.
By not following these rules we are putting our children’s ice time and season at risk.
Please be part of the solution to help our children have a fun, safe and long hockey season!
SPECTATOR/PARENT/GUARDIAN EXPECTATIONS:
-masks need to be worn where social distancing cannot be maintained. This includes in the stands.
You should be 2 meters apart or all individuals within the 2 meters needs to be wearing a mask.
-social distance in main areas of the arena, such as the lobby and washroom.
-listen and follow directions of the MRC staff & amp; SLMHA representatives
Such as coordinators and board members.
-no yelling, spitting, dancing, singing, blowing nose or cheering.
-do not send a participant to a team event if they are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms.
-do not attend events if you are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms.
-enter the MRC and proceed directly to the stands to be seated.
-exit the arena and proceed directly outside. Do not hang out in the lobby.
-one adult per child in the dressing room, no younger siblings allowed.
-a maximum of 100 spectators is allowed in each arena.
-at least one parent or guardian for each child must read and sign the parent Covid-19 Pledge.
